BIG SEAN TO APPEAR ON 'DRINK CHAMPS': Following Kanye West saying on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN's Drink Champs podcast that signing Big Sean was the “worst thing” he'd ever done, Sean will now appear on the show, which will air on Revolt TV tonight (December 16th). In a clip from the interview, Big Sean said about Kanye, “I love Kanye, bro. I love him for the opportunity he gave me, and all these things. But I thought what he said was some b*tch a** sh*t.” The full interview will be available on Black Effect on Friday (December 17th) and YouTube on Saturday (December 18th).
BOOSIE BADAZZ SUED OVER CONCERT BRAWL: Boosie BadAzz is facing a lawsuit over the brawl he was involved in during the Atlanta stop of his Legendz of the Streetz tour. According to TMZ, MN2S Corp. and We Are Live Entertainment have filed a $525,000 lawsuit against the rapper for inciting the brawl. The promotion companies claim Boosie was booked for $150,000 for five performances and received a $50,000 deposit in good faith before the first show. Boosie, who was arrested two months ago on charges connected to the incident, responded to the lawsuit in video shared on Twitter. He captioned the clip, which called out The Shade Room and TMZ for covering negative content about him, “F**K ALL YALL NEGATIVE A** SITES WHO DONT WANNA POST THE TRUTH.”
YOUNG DOLPH GETS STREET NAMED AFTER HIM IN MEMPHIS: A Memphis street has been named after the late Young Dolph following his murder in his hometown last month. The street is called Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton Jr. Avenue and was present by Dolph's longtime girlfriend Mia Jaye alongside her and Dolph's two children as well as Councilwoman Martavius Jones, Councilman JB Smiley Jr. and other local politicians.
RAPPER FOOGIANO INDICTED ON FEDERAL GUN CHARGES: According to the Greenville News, rapper Foogiano has been indicted on federal gun charges stemming from a 2020 nightclub shooting, which killed two people and injured eight others. The rapper, who is signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, is facing two counts of illegal possession of a firearm by a felon. Although Foogiano is not responsible for firing a weapon, he was in possession of one and is prohibited from doing so as a convicted felon.
G HERBO EXPLAINS AWKWARD ARM IN THROWBACK PHOTO WITH LOUIS FARRAKHAN: The photo of G Herbo's awkwardly placed arm is recirculating online. On the picture, which features the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, Herbo said, “S/O TO THE MINISTER BUT WHOEVER KEEP MAKING THIS PIC GO VIRAL A REAL B*TCH 😡.”
FREDDIE GIBBS AND JIM JONES REPORTEDLY GOT INTO A FIGHT IN MIAMI: Freddie Gibbs and Jim Jones reportedly got into an altercation at Prime 112 in Miami. While reports remain unconfirmed, Vlad TV reports that the fight happened as Jim was leaving with his crew and Freddie was entering the restaurant with his own. Jim Jones allegedly approached Freddie Gibbs to address comments Freddie made about him in the past and a member of Jim's team reportedly punched Freddie in the face. Neither Jim nor Freddie have spoken on the alleged fight. There also isn't any video footage of the fight, but people on social media claim to have seen the fight go down.
