Morgan Wallen may seem like he'd be more drawn to a party song rather than a ballad, but the opposite is true. He tells us: “For me, I've always gravitated towards the more personal, moodier type songs. I think I've just always been that way and it comes more natural to me. I have to purposely write a song that's up-tempo and party, but I like both. I think it's good to have that balance, especially for me as a performer. I'm not gonna get up there and just be sappy the whole time so I need both.”
Both types of songs are included on Morgan's new album, Dangerous: The Double Album, which has dominated the pop and country albums charts for the past two weeks.
Morgan sits in the Top 15 on the country charts with “7 Summers.”
