The Adventure Science Center will host the Music City Eclipse Science & Technology Festival featuring three days of fun activities, exhibitors, live science demonstrations, food, music, and more.

ITALIAN LIGHTS FESTIVAL
Each year, Nashville brings back the traditions of the old country during Nashville’s Italian Lights festival at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Typically, the festival takes places over three days where you may enjoy food, wine, live music, and good wholesome fun in Music City. This year, they extended the fun to include the eclipse.

GRAND OLE OPRY
The Grand Ole Opry has scheduled two days of fun for the Music City Solar Eclipse. Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Wyonna, and Charles Esten are set to perform the Opry stage on August 20. The next day, they will have a free Total Eclipse Plaza Party featuring live music, commemorative gifts, and more.

FIRST TENNESSEE PARK
Mayor Megan Barry is hosting a viewing party for the Music City Solar Eclipse at First Tennessee Park. Guests will be able to enjoy music from the Nashville Symphony, science demonstrations, and more. Plus, the Nashville Sounds will play the Iowa Cubs after the eclipse at 4:05 pm.
ACME FEED & SEED
View the Music City Solar Eclipse from the rooftop of Acme Feed & Seed on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. DJ Evido will spin tracks before and after the once-in-a-lifetime event. Plus, they will have an educated emcee explaining to guests what they are seeing.
ANDREW JACKSON’S HERMITAGE: HOME OF THE PEOPLE’S PRESIDENT
Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage is welcoming all to take part in their Eclipse Tailgate. Vehicles will be able to park on the fields in front of The Hermitage’s entrance gate offering a beautiful setting before and after the Music City Solar Eclipse. The first 2,000 guests will receive a free pair of solar eclipse glasses.
THE BRIDGE BUILDING
The Bridge Building overlooks the bank of the Cumberland River offering a perfect place to view the Music City Solar Eclipse. The viewing party is free to attend and they will have a cash bar, solar glasses, and concessions.
CHEEKWOOD ESTATE & GARDENS
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, one of Nashville’s beloved attractions, is hosting their own viewing party during the Music City Solar Eclipse. They will be open from 11 am to 4 pm the day of event and offer half-price admission to all.
DAVE & BUSTER’S
For $25, you can enjoy a lunch buffet, $10 game card, unlimited video play, & souvenir eclipse viewing glasses at Dave & Buster’s in Nashville. Plus, they will be giving away door prizes.
GENERAL JACKSON SHOWBOAT
Check out the Music City Solar Eclipse on Nashville’s General Jackson Showboat. Boarding will begin at 11:15 am, departure at 12 pm, and you will return at 2:30 pm.

Places throughout Sumner County, just north of Nashville, will be celebrating during the eclipse.
A TRIBUTE TO THE KING: THROUGH THE YEARS 1953-1977
A Tribute to the King: Through the Years 1953-1977 musical showcases the life and career of Elvis Presley from 1953 to 1977 through 30 songs and 5 costume changes. On August 21, they will add a special Sun Records segment to the show which will occur after the Music City Solar Eclipse. Every person who purchases a ticket to the show will receive a pair of glasses for free. Head on over, get tickets, watch the solar eclipse, and come back to see a great show in Nashville.

A lot of the parks around Tennessee will be hosting viewing parties.
TREVECCA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY
Families will love to venture to Trevecca Nazarene University for SolarFest. The students and faculty will be around during the festival to teach eager minds about the science behind the eclipse. Plus, there will be food trucks, fun games, and live music.
